The Tromsø floor is unique in its flexibility–it can be either contemporary or old-world. It is this duality that makes it truly distincitive. Tromsø is one of Norway’s most northern cities. The city rides the edge of the Arctic Circle and rides another edge–a cultural edge–between being an ancient city and that of a very modern city with contemporary architecture. The compact city center features the biggest concentration of historic wooden houses that co-exist with modern architecture. It is in this spirit that we present Tromsø: a wire brushed, White Oak in our Conservation Grade™. The idea is to present a palatable "old world look" that appears contemporary. This duality allows the floor to mix well with any number of settings–from rustic to very modern.
GRADE DESCRIPTION
Conservation Grade™ is a flooring product with varying wood characteristics, sapwood, heavy streaks, and numerous small knots.
Finished with Stang-Lund™ Hard Wax Oil–
an all natural, zero VOC organic finish.
